How secure is my data and how and where is it stored?
Very secure, it is similar to that of internet banking. Your internet based data
is stored on Global Office’s secure server. Our server is housed in a secure facility
in Christchurch City, in a temperature controlled room. All data that is sent from
your computer to our server and back is encrypted first, preventing unauthorized
users from intercepting and reading the data. We also do hourly back ups as well.
I have a staff that have dual roles in my business and also get different pay rates
for these jobs can goRoster show these in wage costs?
A custom job and pay rate is set up in the staff members details page. This is then
captured when they are rostered for those jobs and shown in the wage costs.
Can goRoster help me mange staff who can only work on or in between certain days
and hours?
The Unavailability function allows you to set when staff are unavailable, may it
be during certain hours or before or after certain times, (handy when you have students
who must attend classes or a parent who picks up children after school) and if you
roster them on it comes up with an alert to let you know they are unavailable.
Can goRoster record when a staff member is on holiday and prevent me from rostering
them on during this time?
The Leave Wizard function allows you to set when staff are on leave and which type
of leave they require. When building the roster for this period the relevant staff
member will appear in red with on leave next to it in brackets this allows you to
see if they are leave.
Which payroll software can be used with goRoster?
goRoster is integrated with MYOB, Smooth Pay and Ace Pay with more to come!!!
How does goRoster help me communicate with staff?
After creating your roster you can notify your staff via text messaging or email.
Once a staff member receives their notification, they reply to acknowledge the message.
Managing your communications with staff is easy, efficient and extremely effective.
Helping you to avoid those costly instances of when staff fail to turn up due to
lack of knowledge of their roster.
I am finding myself spending hours entering timesheets into our pay system can goRoster
help?
Once shifts are completed you can easily review and export them to payroll systems
(Smooth Pay, MYOB and Ace Pay). Eliminating the need to manually input each staff
members worked hours one by one. Once in the Timesheet tool you can edit staff hours
as needed.
Can goRoster show me projected wage costs for a week?
With staff information in the system, the information taken costs your roster as
you create it. This information is then put against projected totals giving you
your projected wage costs by a unit or all units.
Do I have to be logged in at work to use goRoster?
No being a web based product you are able to do your roster any where you can log
on to the internet allowing you to do your roster away from any annoying workplace
interruptions.
How can goRoster save me time when completing my rosters?
goRoster saves you time by allowing you to copy rosters from week to week. Also
allowing you to export directly from goRoster to a compatible Payroll software.
